FlyArystan will continue operating flights to Yining (Kulja)

Press releases
Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan will continue operating flights on the Almaty – Yining (Kulja) – Almaty route in 2026. The route, which was launched for the first time in May 2025, as a seasonal service, has shown strong passenger demand.

Flights will operate four times a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays – from March 29 to October 23, 2026. Passengers can also take advantage of convenient connecting flights from other cities in Kazakhstan via Almaty.

Yining (Kulja) is located in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of China and serves as the administrative center of the Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture. The city is home to a large Kazakh diaspora, and its proximity to Khorgos – an important transport and logistics hub on the Kazakhstan – China border – makes it an attractive destination for both personal and business travel.

The travel time from Almaty to Yining averages around 10 hours, while a flight takes about one hour, providing passengers with a faster and more comfortable way to travel.

The «Standard» fare ticket price starts from 16 800 tenge.

The airline also notes that online check-in for flights to and from China opens 10 days before departure.

Air tickets are available for booking on the official website www.flyarystan.com, via the FlyArystan mobile app, and through other sales channels.
