FlyArystan Expands Its Fleet with a New Aircraft

Press releases
FlyArystan has added the 26th aircraft to its fleet. The newly arrived Airbus A320 CEO, configured with 180 seats, will soon be put into operation and start serving the airline’s route network.

Airline’s 26th aircraft has been named Sumbile, which translates from Kazakh as Sirius. It is the brightest star in the night sky, with a luminosity more than 25 times that of the sun. The name reflects FlyArystan’s aspiration to inspire passengers to explore new horizons.

As a reminder, the airline’s 25th aircraft – also an Airbus A320 CEO – was commissioned ahead of the Nauryz holiday to increase seat capacity on popular routes. In 2024, FlyArystan, a subsidiary of the Air Astana Group, received five Airbus aircraft. The Group’s total passenger traffic grew by 11.2% last year, reaching 9 million people, with FlyArystan making a significant contribution to this growth.
