FlyArystan connects Western Kazakhstan with Batumi: First flight from Aktau operated

Press releases
FlyArystan has operated its first flight on the Aktau – Batumi route. The new route was launched following the opening of direct air service between Astana and Batumi and has expanded travel opportunities between Kazakhstan and one of Georgia’s most popular resort cities during the summer season.

The inaugural flight FS7729 departed from Aktau International Airport at 09:05 and arrived in Batumi at 09:55 local time. The flight duration was 1 hour and 50 minutes. The nearly full load factor of the first flight demonstrated strong passenger interest in the new destination and confirmed the demand for direct air connectivity between western Kazakhstan and Georgia’s Black Sea coast.

The launch of the route was marked by festive events at the airports of Aktau and Batumi, attended by airport representatives, airline partners, and guests. At Aktau Airport, passengers on the first flight enjoyed welcome activities, refreshments, and commemorative gifts, while upon arrival in Batumi, the FlyArystan aircraft was traditionally greeted with a water cannon salute. A symbolic cake-cutting ceremony and a commemorative photo session were also organized for passengers and crew.

Flights on the Aktau – Batumi – Aktau route will operate from June 6 to August 29, 2026, twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The schedule has been designed for the convenience of both leisure and business travelers: departures in both directions are scheduled in the morning, allowing passengers to comfortably plan their trips and make the most efficient use of their time in Georgia.

The launch of Batumi flights has expanded FlyArystan’s international network from Aktau to five overseas destinations, including Kutaisi, Baku, Urumqi, and Dubai, offering travelers from western Kazakhstan greater access to international leisure and business travel opportunities.

FlyArystan continues to develop affordable international routes, offering passengers greater opportunities for flexible and smart travel planning. The standard fare includes one piece of carry-on baggage weighing up to 7 kg and measuring no more than 56×23×36 cm, while additional services can be added according to individual needs. Tickets are available via the FlyArystan mobile app, the airline’s official website, and other sales channels.

The airline reminds passengers that, effective January 1, 2026, in accordance with Georgia’s Law on Tourism, all foreign citizens entering the country are required to have valid medical and accident insurance coverage.
