Kazakhstan’s low-cost carrier FlyArystan has launched direct flights from Almaty to Gazipaşa-Alanya starting May 13, 2026, with Gazipaşa-Alanya serving as an alternative airport for the Alanya resort region on the Mediterranean coast.
The aircraft operating the inaugural flight was ceremonially welcomed at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport with a traditional water cannon salute, marking the launch of the new destination within the airline’s international route network. The celebration was followed by a cake-cutting ceremony attended by official guests and crew representatives. Passengers of the first flight were presented with gifts.
Flights on the Almaty – Gazipaşa-Alanya route will operate from May 13 through October 24, 2026, twice weekly on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Seasonal flights from Astana, previously operated by the airline, have resumed from May 11 through October 22, 2026, with a frequency of twice weekly on Mondays and Thursdays.

Johan Eidhagen, President and CEO of FlyArystan JSC:
“Today, travel is increasingly about choice and thoughtful planning. We are seeing changes in passenger behavior, with more people approaching travel consciously, planning their itineraries in advance, seeking new leisure formats, and looking for alternatives to overcrowded destinations. Gazipaşa is a perfect example of this trend: a calmer destination with convenient logistics and easy access to popular resorts. By launching flights from Astana and Almaty, we are expanding travel opportunities while also strengthening transport and tourism connectivity between Kazakhstan and Turkiye, supporting the development of business, cultural, and humanitarian ties between our countries”.
Ali Özgür Pehlivan, TAV Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport Director:
“We are pleased to welcome FlyArystan’s new direct flight from Almaty at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport. We believe these new routes will contribute to the cultural and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Türkiye”.
