Richard Ledger, President of FlyArystan JSC:
“We are consistently expanding our international route network, and the launch of the Karaganda – Istanbul flight marks an important step in this direction. FlyArystan is the first and so far the only airline offering direct service between Karaganda and Turkey’s largest city. We are also already operating flights to Istanbul from Aktau. We are confident that the opening of this new route will give an additional boost to the development of business ties, tourism, and cultural exchange between Kazakhstan and Turkey”.
Flights on the Karaganda – Istanbul – Karaganda route will operate twice a week – on Wednesdays and Fridays – until August 29, 2025, inclusive. The flight duration is approximately 5 hours and 15 minutes.
Departure and arrival times will be fixed (local time): departure from Karaganda at 14:20, arrival in Istanbul at 18:35; departure from Istanbul at 19:20, arrival in Karaganda at 02:30.
The launch of this new route is a significant step in strengthening air connectivity between Turkey and Kazakhstan. Istanbul is now directly connected to Karaganda, located in Central Kazakhstan and recognized as one of the country’s key industrial, educational, and cultural centers.
