About the World Airline Awards
Established by independent research agency Skytrax in 1999, the World Airline Awards are considered one of the most authoritative indicators of passenger satisfaction in global aviation and are often referred to as the “Oscars of the aviation industry.” The 2023/2024 online survey was conducted from September 2024 to May 2025 and included respondents from over 100 countries, evaluating the service quality of more than 350 airlines worldwide. Skytrax fully funds the research and awards ceremony, charging no registration fees or licensing costs to participating airlines.
