FlyArystan Introduces Chinese Influencers to Kazakhstan’s Tourism Potential

Press releases
FlyArystan, with the support of the tourism authorities of Almaty and the Mangystau Region, organized a familiarization tour for Chinese travel bloggers, travel agents, and tour operators. The project aims to promote Kazakhstan’s tourism potential in the Chinese market. In Almaty, the project was supported by local tour operator Kite Travel.
From July 4 to 7, two groups of Chinese influencers and tourism industry representatives traveled at the same time through two of Kazakhstan’s key destinations – the Almaty Region and the Mangystau Region. Over the course of several days, they explored the country’s unique natural landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and modern tourism infrastructure.

In the Mangystau Region, the group visited the Zhygylgan Cape, the underground mosques of Sultan Epe and Shakpak Ata, the Torysh Valley of Balls, Sherkala and Airakty mountains, the Kyzylkup tract, and the region’s iconic Bozzhyra Plateau.
At the same time, a group of seven Chinese influencers explored the Almaty region. Their itinerary included visits to the Shymbulak Mountain Resort, Kok-Tobe, Kolsai and Kaindy Lakes, Charyn Canyon, the Huns Ethno Village, the Bizdin Auyl complex, the Oi-Qaragai Mountain Resort, and the Green Bazaar, where they experienced Kazakhstan's local cuisine, culture, and traditions.
The participants of the blog tour have a combined audience of more than 13.5 million followers. Throughout the trip, the influencers created photo and video content that will be published on China's leading social media platforms, including RedNote (Xiaohongshu), Douyin, and Weibo.

Janar Jailauova, Director Marketing & Communication at FlyArystan:

“China remains one of Kazakhstan’s key inbound tourism markets. Collaborating with digital content creators allows us to introduce potential visitors to authentic travel experiences, increase the country’s visibility, and inspire interest in new destinations. Through bloggers’ personal experiences and genuine impressions, we showcase the diversity of Kazakhstan’s regions – from the unique landscapes of Mangystau to the mountain resorts of the Almaty region.”

The blog tour was part of FlyArystan’s initiative to strengthen air connectivity between Kazakhstan and China. Today, the airline operates direct flights on the Almaty – Xi’an, Astana – Urumqi, Aktau – Urumqi, and Almaty – Yining routes, supporting the growth of tourism and business ties between the two countries.
